Plus a new video, and my thoughts on tonight's election...
Greetings Johnny,
Happy Election Day. I’ll cover UAP themes first in this newsletter, and then return to the election via my podcast at the end.
This week, CBS News offered a revealing snapshot of just how far the UFO/UAP conversation has traveled. Its Sunday Morning report covers multiple topics, from a 1950 farmhouse sighting in Oregon and the festival crowds it still draws, to the halls of serious science and government. A new CBS News poll finds that nearly one in five Americans say they have seen a UFO, and a subject once relegated to ridicule is now the charge of a federal Scientific Advisory Council chaired by Harvard astrophysicist Avi Loeb. As SUNY Albany physicist Matthew Szydagis frames the stakes, the possibility that even a small fraction of these phenomena represent a non-human intelligence “will be the greatest discovery in human history,” and the idea “is no longer laughable.”

What struck me most is the report’s honest reckoning with the distance between public interest and genuine proof. Despite seven tranches and more than 155,000 pages, former Navy pilot Ryan Graves, who now sits on the Advisory Council, calls what has been disclosed “not satisfactory,” since the public has received short infrared clips rather than high-grade sensor data. And David Grusch’s recovered-craft and “biologics” claims remain walled off behind classification.
That is the work ahead of us. The credibility problem is steadily being solved. The evidence problem will be solved only through sustained public insistence on real data and full transparency, so that the truth, still “out there,” is finally brought into the open.
Our campaign for the UAPDA continues
Our advocacy campaign to pressure Congress to pass the UAP Disclosure Act (UAPDA) as part of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is still ongoing, and it will pick up steam after the election, as lawmakers return to Washington to finish the bill. To explain what this pressure campaign is and why it matters, our team has produced a new video. Please watch it and share it with anyone who cares about disclosure. If you haven’t yet added your voice, you can send the email and make the calls in just a few minutes.
