A firsthand update from Disclosure Forum 2026.
Greetings Johnny,
I’m in Washington D.C. as this newsletter goes to press, attending the Disclosure Foundation's Disclosure Forum 2026 at the historic Russell Senate Office Building on Capitol Hill. The gathering is bringing together one of the most prominent bipartisan and multidisciplinary assemblies ever convened publicly on the subject of Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena (UAP). Chaired by former Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Intelligence Christopher Mellon, the forum features senior lawmakers including Senator Mike Rounds, Representatives Anna Paulina Luna, Tim Burchett, Eric Burlison, André Carson, and Suhas Subramanyam. There are also leading researchers and experts such as Dr. Avi Loeb, Dr. Harold Puthoff, Rear Admiral Tim Gallaudet, Dr. Carlos Eire.
Throughout the day, participants are addressing congressional oversight and transparency, national security, scientific investigation of UAP, emerging technologies, public policy, psychology, religion, economics, and the broader societal implications of disclosure, with an emphasis on moving beyond debating whether the phenomenon exists toward developing serious institutional frameworks for how governments, scientists, and society should respond.
