Los Angeles, CA, was originally named after the Virgin Mary | the reproach of Christ

Los Angeles, CA, was originally named after the Virgin Mary | the reproach of Christ
Los Angelos. Why do they call it that? Hegel (philosophy ) said "the truth is in the whole".
The name must mean something. UFO central. They build a city around it? Below is a Catholic account about the origin of said city. Seems to me that they don’t know 1from the other. So, I think that coz there ain’t no women angels, that Mary being the Queen makes for her to be a huge being as big as God, ergo the whole pantheon is beginning to slip & females are moving up in heavens. What am I talking about? Stoned lol. Keep'emPeeled.

Los Angeles, CA, was originally named after the Virgin Mary

An LA Times article in 2005 discusses the city's original name. Everyone agrees that the city was not originally called Los Angeles ("The Angels"). What was LA first called?
"Some contend it was El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora de los Angeles. Others assert it was El Pueblo de Nuestra Senora la Reyna de los Angeles."
LA was originally called either "The town of Our Lady of the Angels" or "The town of Our Lady, the Queen of the Angels". In any case, the city of LA was named after the Blessed Virgin Mary, who is the Queen of all Angels.
How I wish that the city of LA would live up to its original name!
